Good Shepherds International Foundation School was established with student populations of twenty
(20) which is made up of eight (8) girls and twelve (12) boys. On the fourth day of March 2010, Good
Shepherds International Foundation School (GSIFS) came to light and it is a dream comes through.
Theschool was opened to entire community and its environs. On that faithful day I moved from community
to community meeting elders and also to register children in each of the community i visit to attend the
school vehicle was hired to pick children from their various communities to school and bring them back
to home. The whole idea of establishing GSIFS for our less privilege in our society came to light when i completed senior higher school far back 2001.
I was touch by suggestion made by my Daughter Eugenia Woelinam Goka at that tender age, when she
saw children leading cattle early morning instead of them been in school at that time.
On that faithful day it was David the cattle leader, when we approached and asked him why is him not
attending school but rather found himself in cattle leading?. David said his parents preferred him
leading cattle than schooling, because there is no money to send him to school, but he feel to go to
school and him become doctor than cattle leading and at the end of his service he will be given one
cattle. Then that Eugenia said Dad, I wish you establish school to carter for children cattle leaders.
This is how Good Shepherds International School was born.
As we are here talking GSIFS is proud to have its students population moved from twenty(20) to
hundred and fifteen (150)which forty-eight (48) of them are cattle leaders and their attending GSIFS
FREE, Whiles we are providing them their needs that would make them feel good.
The school is opened to every children, because we are non-discriminating not for profit school.
We are here to help and deliver better education to children and every one we serve at large.
