GOOD SHEPHERDS INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION
SCHOOL (GSIFS)
VISION AND MISSION OF GSIFS
Good
Shepherds International Foundation School (GSIFS) was founded by Samuel Goka in
August, 2010. A social worker at his care, his school is no doubt reflective
of his farsighted vision for Ghana’s Education.
Samuel’s
belief is in inclusive education as the key to human enrichment and Ghanaian
giant strides to further progress. Completed with the state of art facilities and
infrastructure, which will support his mission and vision ardent.
A
simple, yet distinctive and firm underlying philosophy of the school is to
provide an internationally accepted standard of education.
To
step into the rich Ghanaian educational, traditional and core values, the
communities in the district, have been baptized in the vision and mission of
GSIFS as a non – governmental and charitable school in central Tongu, Volta
Region and Ghana as a whole.
In
rendering holistic learning, delivered by qualified staff, GSIFS will continue
with her 2 - year’s old programme and move dynamically into the future, with
our explicit trust in God.
Although
a rigorous academic and moral programme is the core of everything at GSIFS, we
do an equally out standing co – curricular agenda for students, endowment with
a much needed holistic education to give
them a competitive edge over others.
Good
Shepherds International Foundation School also endeavours to prepare each
student for academic, moral social and personal successes by creating a community
of empowered and diverse learners, striving to be globally minded citizens, in
an atmosphere of mutual respects, understanding and trust.
The
management, staff and students are committed to this vision and mission, and
shall consciously work to obtain exceptional results in the academic, moral co –
curricular and extra curricular arenas.
Our
targeted children are: - orphans, the needy and the disadvantaged children who
GSIFS supports. The school is also poised in reducing child labour in its catchment
areas such as:

which farm crops and livestock without taste for importance of education.
Their children are sent to farm and some
boys are cattle leaders.
The school has arranged for a vehicle
that can convey these children from their communities to and fro and feed them
at an almost a free cost to GSIFS weekly.
We also supply free uniforms, pencils
and books to our precious children.
